A Little More....."chippy whites"

I absolutely love "chippy whites"

Working my way into the front end of my home .... packing things away and came upon a small mirror that I had painted an antique white some time ago and thought .... hmmmm,  I have 2 more weeks till I move and why not leave this out on the coffee table so the first thing you see if you come to my front door is not just emptiness?  The small bouquet matches the roses that I put into the Stainless Steel Pot in front of the window.  It will be easy to simply wrap it right when I am ready to start loading all the boxes and furniture.  I'ts been rainy and dark and gloomy here so my photos are not as bright as I hoped they'd be .... darn! I hate when that happens!

I am slowly but surely adding more whites to my decor.  I love the shabbiness of it all and it doesn't have to be perfect.  The romantic feel it gives a room ....

Do you recognize this little love seat?  This is the piece that I saved and thought .... one of these days I will recover it!  I ended up painting it!!  You can see what it looked like before here!  I may end up adding it to a room that I am going to decorate for Alicia when I move.  It would make a cute addition to her room.  Maybe repaint it and seal it?

I am so excited about moving and can't wait to share each and every room with you.  And believe me .... it is alot of work ahead of me but I must say that I thrive on that!  I work best under pressure and have set a goal to get it all done pretty quickly.  There will be no painting except for changing the bathroom because all the painting and new carpet have all been done for me!

Enjoy your evening everyone!  I will be sharing small posts such as this because I have almost everything packed and ready in boxes.  I hope you don't get too bored with me.  Stick with me because I promise that you will see some wonderful projects, painting ideas and little odds and ends in the coming weeks.  I will be moving the first week in February and even though it is a task and big undertaking it will be a delight to settle in .... get a fire going in the fireplace,  open a wonderful book or my favorite magazine and relax!
all my best to you ....
